MO SALAH had a moment to forget against Bournemouth with a miss-of-the-season contender.
That’s because the Liverpool star managed to fire wide just a YARD out from an open goal.
Jurgen Klopp’s men ran riot at Anfield on Saturday.
They were 1-0 up against Bournemouth after just three minutes through Luis Diaz.
And Harvey Elliott doubled Liverpool’s lead moments later.
With 16 minutes on the clock, Salah was presented with a golden opportunity to get his name on the score sheet.

Some clever intricate passes saw Elliott break into Bournemouth’s box.
And he split the Cherries apart with a brilliant low cross to Salah on the right side of the goal mouth.
The Egyptian had an empty net to fire into as he stabbed at the ball.
But Salah somehow managed to send his effort wide of the post, leaving Klopp with his head in his hands.

Liverpool fans certainly couldn’t believe Salah missed it – especially considering he has 120 league goals in just 183 games for the club.
One yelped: “How has Mo Salah missed it!”
Another declared: “HOWWW DID SALAH MISS THAT.”
One cried: “What a miss by Salah.”
Another added: “How did Salah miss? Surely the miss of the weekend.”
But despite Salah’s miss, Liverpool continued to run the show against Bournemouth.
They went 3-0 up in the 28th minute through Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And it was 4-0 moments later when Roberto Firmino got in on the action.
Liverpool then managed to bag a fifth goal on the stroke of half-time thanks to Virgil van Dijk.
The rout continued in the second half, with an own goal from Chris Mepham making it six and Firmino getting his second to make it seven.
Despite Liverpool’s incredible performance, it was a day to forget for Salah and it got even worse 20 minutes from full-time when he fluffed another golden chance with just the keeper to beat.
