IMMINENT Manchester United signing Casemiro’s shirt number has been revealed, taking on the former number of new team-mate Bruno Fernandes.
The Real Madrid legend, 30, will move to Old Trafford in a £70million transfer worth an eye-watering £350,000-a-week.
And according to Marca, Casemiro will take on the No18 shirt – which was previously worn by Bruno Fernandes.
It was also the legendary number of United icon Paul Scholes.
Casemiro waved goodbye to Real in an emotional press conference, which even had boss Carlo Ancelotti fighting back the tears.
The five-time Champions League winner said: “As you know, I don’t like the spotlight or having prominence, I will try to talk with my heart.

“I’d like to thank the club for making me a better player and a better person.
“Playing with Modric and Kroos, I really enjoyed football. I want to make it clear that one day I would return to Real Madrid and show you how much I love this club.

On the decision to join United, he added: “I am excited to develop at a big club like Manchester United.”
Casemiro won’t feature for United on Monday against Liverpool.
There is, however, a chance the midfielder will be unveiled ahead of the game.
