CRISTIANO RONALDO’s sister has shared a post by Piers Morgan slamming Manchester United and confirming the superstar wants a transfer.
Ronaldo’s future has been the subject of intense speculation all summer, with reports of the legendary Portuguese forward wanting to leave United in order to play Champions League football.
Following a statement from Ronaldo which revealed he would be participating in a tell-all interview in a couple of weeks, Morgan leapt to the defence of the 37-year-old.
The post from Morgan read: “Pathetic to see Cristiano getting all the media headlines/blame for this United fiasco.
“Without him & his 18 PL goals last season they’d have been relegated, and without him this season – WHEN, not if he leaves – they might well be relegated.
“Whole club is rotten from top down.”

Elma Aveiro, Ronaldo’s sister, shared the post to her Instagram story, though it has since expired.
Former United team-mate Gary Neville implored Ronaldo to “stand up now and speak,” criticising his decision to wait to tell Manchester United fans what’s really happening.
In Ronaldo’s statement, he said “the truth” would be revealed when he participates in an interview in a couple of weeks time.
He added: “The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right.”

Ronaldo returned to pre-season late amid the reports of his exit, and was subsequently only named on the bench to face Brighton on the opening day.
While he was powerless to help United overcome that challenge, he then played the full 90 minutes in the humiliation The Red Devils suffered in their 4-0 defeat at Brentford last weekend.
They play Liverpool next.
