World Athletics Championships 2022: Schedule and how to watch


THE ICONIC World Athletics Championships has returned – and it will be on United States soil for the first time ever.

When are the World Athletics Championships?

Starting on Friday, July 15, 2022, the World Athletics Championships will continue on through Sunday, July 24.

Each day will have various starting times; opening day is scheduled to get underway from 6:15pm UK time, and 9:15am in the United States.

The United States has never hosted this tournament before.

It is also the first outdoor World Championships, hosted at Haward Field at the University of Oregon.
