FOOTBALL fans have joked Old Trafford hasn’t sounded as loud in years as England’s Lionesses kicked off Euro 2022 at Manchester United’s stadium.
Sarina Wiegman’s side opened the tournament against Group A opponents Austria at the Theatre of Dreams.

The hosts are unbeaten under the tutelage of the Dutch gaffer – winning 12 of their 14 matches heading into the tournament.
