CARL FROCH is well known for reminding people how many fans were at Wembley in 2014 to watch him knock out George Groves.
And the former super-middleweight world champion can now add Oleksandr Usyk to the list of people he has told about boxing in front of 80,000 spectators.
Usyk, 35, bumped into Froch, 44, at the London press conference promoting his rematch with Anthony Joshua on August 20.
The Ukrainian approached Froch for a selfie and the Nottingham-born ex-fighter couldn’t resist the chance to joke about his final bout.
In footage posted online by Pro Boxing Fans, Froch said to Usyk: “Did you know how many people I boxed in front of at Wembley Stadium?”
A totally confused Usyk then replied: “Sorry?”

Usyk then hilariously said as he looked utterly bewildered: “Yeah.”

Still completely bemused, Usyk started talking before Froch finally put him out of his misery and said: “I’m only joking.”

Froch though can better that with the 80,000 that saw his rematch against Groves in the first ever fight at the new Wembley.
He retired immediately after the bout and has been eager to remind boxing fans of the attendance ever since.
The record is only bettered by the 90,000 at Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko in 2017 and the 94,000 in the stands to see Tyson Fury knock out Dillian Whyte earlier this year.
