Rangers v Leipzig cameraman spotted literally BOUNCING at Ibrox as Europa League party gets into full swing

IBROX was bouncing last night as Rangers booked their spot in the first European final for 14 years – quite LITERALLY.

A video clip shared by Grant Phillips, executive producer on Sunset & Vine’s BT Sport coverage of the Europa League semi-final, shows the TV gantry REVERBERATING as Gers fans partied after their side’s huge win.

The TV gantry was quite literally BOUNCING

Fans were belting out a specially-adapted song in tribute to John Lundstram to the tune of Belinda Carlisle’s ‘Heaven is a place on earth’ as the Gers heroes did a lap of honour.

But they were getting so much into it that the intrepid cameraman may have feared for his safety as the raised metal platform shook aid the jubilant scenes.

Rangers legend Ally McCoist also got into the swing of things on the television gantry as he danced and sang once the full-time whistle had sounded.

And the former Ibrox boss could barely speak when he had to sum up his feelings.

He said: “I am absolutely buzzing. I can’t tell you.

“Look at the supporters, everybody. Dear me.

“Darrell, that is as good as anything I have heard in world football.

“I know Gio wanted the supporters to play the twelfth man, not only where they the twelfth men, but they were also the thirteenth and fourteenth.”

In the comparative safety of the SkySports studio, Gers legend and SunSport columnist Kris Boyd echoed every single Rangers fan across the globe as he expressed a wide range of emotions during their Europa League triumph over RB Leipzig.

The club’s former striker went through a rollercoaster of emotions as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men turned this tie around after going into the semi-final trailing by one goal after Angelino’s late strike in Germany last week.

James Tavernier handed the hosts the perfect start as he turned home at the back post following a driving run from Ryan Kent.

You couldn’t wipe the smile off the face of the ex-Rangers striker and if you thought that cheeky grin couldn’t get any bigger.. you only need to see his reaction to Glen Kamara’s goal.

Boydy was up and down across the coverage as he reacted to Joe Aribo’s huge change at two-nil while he delivered the news of Christopher Nkunku’s stunner and leveller on aggregate.

It was the same story behind closed doors as the first-team stars toasted their success ahead of the final showdown with Eintracht Frankfurt on May 18.

And it was the younger members of the squad – including Alex Lowry and Leon King – who got the party rocking.

Rising star Lowry was quickly into the mood as he posted pictures from behind the scenes of the celebrations.
