TYSON FURY has important business to take care of tonight in the shape of Dillian Whyte.
The Gypsy King will defend his WBC and Ring Magazine titles this evening at Wembley in front of 94,000 fans.

Whyte showed himself to be the WBC’s mandatory challenger, so in stepped the Body Snatcher.
But assuming Fury wins tonight’s battle, there will be a slew of options for him to take on next.
That is, of course, if he doesn’t do the unthinkable and retire from boxing completely.

The logical next step for Tyson Fury, should he win tonight, would be to face Oleksandr Usyk, the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion.
With Fury in possession of the WBC strap, the fight would be for the undisputed titles, a first in the four-belt era in the heavyweight division.
Of course, Usyk still has a rematch with Anthony Joshua, likely set to take place at the end of July, so the Ukrainian would have to win that first, which brings us to our next option…

He was thoroughly outclassed in his first fight with Usyk, but Joshua is confident he can regain the titles he lost in September.
Should he beat Usyk, he would be the next obvious option for Fury, who he almost came close to fighting last summer in Saudi Arabia.

Should either the Usyk or Joshua fights fall through, one of the highest-ranked available contenders with the WBC is Joe Joyce.
Joyce has been after a world title shot for over a year now and his biggest win came against Daniel Dubois back in November 2020.
Ranked second, behind Deontay Wilder, in the WBC rankings, he could very well see himself installed as the mandatory challenger later this year.

Bit of a curveball, we know. But Fury’s a walking curveball.
Both Fury and Ngannou have spoken about fighting each other over the past year, and the two men have mentioned they’d like it to take place next year.
Apart from Joshua or Usyk clashes, financially the fight makes more sense than any other boxing match-up does for Fury.
And Fury has even spoken of his will to get in the cage and box with 4oz gloves on.
