RUBIN COLWILL scored his first international goal to ensure Wayne Hennessey could celebrate his Wales century.

And the Cardiff teen star, 19, even got a round of applause from Gareth Bale after cancelling out Tomas Soucek’s smart opener for Czech Republic.

Bale’s close pal Hennessey joined him and Chris Gunter as the only Welshmen in the exclusive 100-cap club.

After this draw, Robert Page’s Wales are now an impressive 18 matches unbeaten at home and that bodes well for this summer’s World Cup play-off final against either Scotland or Ukraine.

But the visitors remained on top and they took a deserved 32nd minute lead through Soucek.

Jaroslav Zeleny crossed from the left flank, Ondrej Lingr cushioned the ball down and Soucek swivelled before firing past Hennessey.

But Wales were behind for less than two minutes.

Nottingham Forest star Johnson, who has lit up the Championship, surged down the right flank and his pull-back was inch-perfect for Colwill to slot home.

There was almost a Cardiff double as Will Vaulks struck the post just before half-time.

Lukas Masopust also hit the woodwork but Wales looked more likely to grab a winner as 

Vaulks, Johnson and Mepham – denied by a Soucek clearance – all came close.

After Wales fans teased Real Madrid by telling Bale to sign for rivals Barcelona, he appeared for his 102nd cap in a 10-minute outing to replace goalscorer Colwill.

Bale forced Stanek into a save at his near post but there was no fairytale ending for ton up Hennessey.
