CARLO ANCELOTTI has come under fire after Real Madrid were thrashed 4-0 in El Clasico.
Legendary Galactico Guti has slammed the Bernabeu boss for failing to change things as his side was being hammered by Barcelona on Sunday.
With an array of talent waiting in the wings, Ancelotti’s lack of attacking substitutions left the former midfielder stunned.
Despite being 2-0 down at half-time following goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ronald Araujo, Ancelotti’s only change was to bring on forward Mariano – who hasn’t played for Madrid this year.
Speaking on El Chiringutio Guti said: “I’m Ancelotti and I look at the bench and I have Hazard, Jovic, [Gareth] Bale, Isco… And you’re telling me that I can’t sub any of them in? What’s going on? I am getting lost.
‘I watch the game against Barcelona and I see the Real Madrid bench and I find that in the second half the first change from Madrid is Mariano… How can this be? Aren’t Bale and Hazard there? Madrid’s first offensive change Mariano, who hasn’t played this year?”

Ancelotti later confirmed that Bale missed the game through illness, although he could still be fit for Wales’ World Cup qualifier vs Austria on Thursday.
Guti also singled out Vinicius Jr for further criticism, saying: “He cares more about the referee and rivals than about playing football.”
While Barcelona may have hammered Madrid in El Clasico, Ancelotti’s side remain in pole position to complete a Champions league and La Liga double.
After a historic comeback against PSG, Madrid set up a Champions League quarter final tie with Chelsea.
Real could then face local rivals Atletico or Manchester City for a place in the final in Paris.
Despite this and being top of La Liga there seems to be unrest within the Los Blancos squad, with several players linked with summer exits.
Speaking on this Guti said: “A big team that wants to fight for the European Cup, for the League and for the Copa del Rey cannot be with 14 players. What is happening here?”
