CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN is on course for an emotional Denmark return – despite his Covid-19 setback.
The midfielder, 30, missed the Bees’ 2-1 loss at Leicester City on Sunday after testing positive for the virus.

It is a major boost to Denmark ahead of friendlies with the Netherlands this Saturday and Serbia the following Tuesday.
It is the first time that Eriksen has been named in the national team since his cardiac arrest while playing against Finland in a Euro 2020 group match last summer.

Hjulmand added: “He looks like himself. I’ve been following him closely. I was recently in London to see him and feel him. I saw him in training and fighting and he is physically very, very fit.
“He has played at an impressively high level. He acts recognisably inside the court. There is still something that needs to be improved. It goes without saying, but he plays at a high level.
“I saw him in the stadium in the match between Brentford and Burnley, and he was the best player of the match.”
