DAVID MOYES is looking to lead West Ham to their first piece of silverware since 1980.
And the Hammers’ best opportunity to achieve that is likely to come in this season’s Europa League.
West Ham breezed through a group containing Rapid Vienna, Dinamo Zagreb and Genk, but will not be playing in this week’s knockout stage.

Why aren’t West Ham playing in the Europa League knockout stage?
West Ham are not playing in this week’s Europa League knockout stage because they won their group.
A change in competition rules means the group winners are fast-tracked to the Round of 16 and avoid the Round of 32.
Only the group runners-up now participate in the Round of 32, where they face one of the third placed teams from the Champions League group stage.
