MO SOLAH missed his first Premier League penalty in FOUR years as Liverpool lost to Leicester at King Power Stadium.

The Egypt superstar won the spot-kick 14 minutes into Tuesday’s late kick-off after tempting Foxes defender Wilfred Ndidi into a lunge in the box.

He kissed the ball before placing it on the spot in front of a raucous home crowd.

And seconds later he saw his shot saved as Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel guessed correctly.

The miss was Salah’s first from the spot since his failed effort against Huddersfield in October 2017.

As a team Liverpool have scored every top flight spot kick since then, with Salah variously sharing duties with James Milner and Roberto Firmino.

Denmark international Schmeichel leaped to his right and got a strong palm to Salah’s left-footed blast.

But he could only parry it back into the path of the on-rushing Liverpool talisman.

Salah though could not keep his follow-up header down and was denied by the crossbar.
