ERLING HAALAND appeared to signal his Borussia Dortmund exit by WAVING goodbye to fans.
The Norway international, 21, is one of European football’s most wanted men with a raft of heavyweight clubs eyeing his signature.
Manchester United see him as the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford, while the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also interested.
The Norwegian waved to supporters after Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Furth last Wednesday – their last home match of the year.
Reporters in Germany picked up on the gesture and questioned Dortmund officials following their 3-2 defeat by Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
Sporting director Michael Zorc said: “I saw the pictures afterwards too. It looked a bit strange, but I don’t think it was a deliberate action.
“I spoke to him again briefly, and that’s not an issue in the team either.
“‘What is this?’ I asked him. ‘Nothing at all’, he said. That settles the matter.”

Meanwhile, Dortmund chief exec Hans-Joachim Watzke told BILD: “All I know is Real Madrid are very interested in him
“I could name 25 others now, but with Real I know for sure.
“I think he would fit in better in Spain. A different kind of football is played in England. I am not so sceptical that he will stay with us.”
United were described as the ‘only serious bidder’ but have been told by Haaland’s camp they must guarantee Champions League football if he’s to move there.
The ex-RB Salzburg youngster has already notched 19 goals in just 15 Dortmund appearances so far this season.
