WILFRIED ZAHA is set to return for Crystal Palace to face Newcastle this weekend.
The Eagles talisman missed Monday’s 2-2 draw at Arsenal through illness.
But SunSport understands the Ivorian should be back for Saturday’s hosting of managerless Toon after returning to training.
Meanwhile, England boss Gareth Southgate will formally open Palace’s flash new academy next week.
Southgate is one of the Eagles’ finest academy graduates, having joined the club at 16.
He will officially open the £20million, redeveloped site which has Category One status alongside Palace chairman Steve Parish on Thursday, October 28.
Parish said: “Gareth was a pivotal part of creating the current academy system.
“His success is testament to the type of person and player this club strives to produce.

Work began on Palace’s new academy in June 2020, creating five grass training pitches, a full-size outdoor 3G pitch with floodlighting, a show pitch, a full-size covered indoor training pitch and a gym.
It also has a complex of offices, analysis rooms, a lecture room, meeting rooms, classrooms, a restaurant and a kitchen.
A plush medical rehab and extended gym therapy area are currently underway and will conclude the final phase of the project.
