MAN UTD were well below-par against a superb Leicester, who fully deserved the three points to pile the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils were comfortably beaten by a rampant Leicester side, succumbing to a disappointing 4-2 defeat in the end.
Mason Greenwood scored his third goal of the season with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box.
But it was quickly cancelled out by Youri Tielemans, who was outstanding throughout in midfield.
The Belgium international got Leicester back in it with a curling effort that looped over a stranded David De Gea just after the half hour mark.
Caglar Soyuncu then put Leicester ahead, only for Rashford to equalise from close range just four minutes later on his return to the side.
But Leicester ran rampant in the last ten minutes, with Jamie Vardy and Patson Data taking the game away from the Red Devils late on.

DAVID DE GEA – 5/10
Was culpable for giving the ball away at the back for Tielemans’ goal, but there was nothing he could do about the strike itself.
Made one or two decent saves, but ultimately had a disappointing night in between the sticks.

AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 5/10
Was caught out at the back-post for Leicester’s fourth goal and offered very little going forward.
Not a good game for the full-back.
VICTOR LINDELOF – 6/10
Got the assist for the Rashford goal with a superb long-ball over the top.
But struggled to cope with Leicester’s pace up front.
HARRY MAGUIRE – 4/10
Had a game to forget after a mix-up with De Gea gave Leicester the chance for their opening goal.
Looked a yard off the pace on his return and misplaced a few passes.
Maguire was incessantly jeered by the home fans too, which summed up the Utd captain’s night.
LUKE SHAW – 5/10
Didn’t have his worst game in a Utd shirt, but was less involved than usual and gave the ball away too often.
Shaw was unusually anonymous today and struggled to cope with Ricardo Pereira, who had a great game for Leicester.
A poor showing by Shaw’s high standards.
NEMANJA MATIC – 5/10 (OFF 80 MINS)
Struggled to contain the mercurial Youri Tielemans in midfield and failed to get stuck in and intercept balls in between the lines to shield his defence.
Was hooked for McTominay late on.
PAUL POGBA – 5/10
A disappointing showing from Pogba in midfield after winning the Nations League with France last week.
Gave the ball away too often and failed to make the kind of impact he makes in a more attacking position for Utd.
The Frenchman started off the campaign with a bang, but is rapidly tailing off after a couple of substandard outings of late.
MASON GREENWOOD – 6/10 (OFF 80 MINS)
Scored a superb goal to give Utd the lead in the first half, but was otherwise quiet for the rest of the game until he was subbed in the second half.
BRUNO FERNANDES – 4/10
A poor showing by his very high standards.
Struggled to create chances and was utterly outbattled by Leicester’s midfield.
JADON SANCHO – 5/10 (OFF 65 MINS)
Another difficult game for Sancho on the left-wing, who has yet to complete 90 minutes in the league for the Red Devils.
The £73m man struggled to make his mark on the game and was substituted just after the hour mark.
CRISTIANO RONALDO – 5/10
After scoring a hat-trick for Portugal on Tuesday, Utd fans might have expected Ronaldo to get back amongst the goals this afternoon.
But the 36-year-old was absent for large chunks of the game and was starved of service by Utd’s creative players.
After scoring three goals in his first two, CR7 has now failed to score for the third league game in a row.
SUBSTITUTES:
MARCUS RASHFORD – 7/10 (ON 65 MINS)
Looked lively when he came on and made a great run for his goal, which he slotted in superbly.
The England forward’s scoring return was Utd’s one saving grace in what was a dire overall performance.
JESSE LINGARD – N/A (ON 80 MINS)
Had one shot on goal but was otherwise unable to make an impact.
SCOTT MCTOMINAY – N/A (ON 80 MINS)
Wasn’t on for long enough to affect the game.
