During the interview Carragher was also asked about his pre match ritual by Neville.
And he said: “I always read the matchday programme on the toilet. Not just in it, on it!”
And in addition to saying he wished he played in the Glasgow derby between Rangers and Celtic he also told Nev his pet hate.
He said: “People blaming other people for their own mistakes.
“Phonies all the time blaming someone, if you have done something just own it.”
It comes after ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen revealed he had never had a coffee while also saying he has only watched seven films in his life.
Owen, 41, told the BBC: “I was never exposed to it.
“I don’t think I’m missing out I’m not quite sure what the attraction is.
“My wife drinks tea, and I probably made her a cup of tea a couple of years ago for the first time. So I know how to make a cup of tea.”
“I get very bored watching films, I can’t sit still for two hours.
“I think I’ve probably watched six or seven in my life. Rocky, Cool Runnings, Jurassic Park – I got forced to watch that twice as well – Ghost, Heat.”
The Overlap is a new YouTube channel from Gary Neville in partnership with Sky Bet.
