Usyk takes break from ‘long and hard’ training camp by JUGGLING and admits he’s loving life ahead of Joshua fight

OLEKSANDR USYK looked relaxed as he juggled on his break from preparing to fight Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian is eagerly anticipating the heavyweight bout and described his training camp as a “lovely” experience.

And Usyk revealed he is not swayed by talk of Joshua’s height and reach advantage, with the 34-year-old set to take part in just his second heavyweight clash.

He was victorious in his first, defeating Britain’s Derek Chisora last year.

Usyk is aware AJ will pose a different challenge but he is excited by the opportunity to fight the world champion.

He said: “It was a very long and hard camp but it was most lovely for me.

“They are completely different fighters, you cannot compare them.

“Can he do something different instead of boxing with me? He can do whatever he wants, I will do whatever I want to do.

“Everyone talks about who is bigger or smaller but none of that bothers me.

“Everything in my life is good, I am happy and boxing is my way of life so Saturday it will all come together.

Usyk has the chance to add the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles to his collection, having already possessed five titles at cruiserweight level.

But Joshua is well aware of the threat he poses and has adapted his training camp to suit.

The Brit, 31, is arguably in the best shape of his life and revealed he has sparred with one hand behind his back in order to improve his mentality when put into vulnerable positions.
