MANCHESTER UNITED have looked flat in the first half with Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho starting for the first time.

    But as he goes to stick a cross into the box, Varane recovers and blocks the ball behind for a Wolves corner.

    But his pass is effortlessly intercepted and Wolves look to counter again.

    The Wolves faithful are voicing their displeasure at the break in play, their team are outplaying United at the moment.

    Neves plays a clever ball in behind Varane finding Jimenez.

    The striker manages to find a yard or two of space and clip a cross towards the back post.

    Saiss pulls off a spectacular bicycle kick but it goes just wide of the far post!

    23. Trincao drives Wolves forward before playing the ball into the feet of Jimenez.

    The striker – who has his back to goal – lays the ball off to midfield orchestrator Moutinho.

    The Portugal international then finds Traore out wide on the left.

    Traore cuts back onto his right foot and clips the ball towards the penalty spot.

    His attempt to find Jimenez forces Maguire to clear in a rush, winning Wolves another corner.

    Moutinho whips the ball towards the edge of United’s six yard box hoping to find Jimenez.

    But Varane does well to command his box and head clear for the visitors.

    And it’s no surprise that they’ve based 50 per cent of their attacks in the final third down the right flank where he’s operating.

    But the Welsh winger is dispossessed and Wolves look to counter.

    Trincao takes up responsibility and beats Fred and Shaw with skill and pace.

    But he’s then brought down by Shaw, who managed to recover well.

    18. Moutinho tries to float the ball towards the near post, but Fernandes heads clear for United.

    17. Fred concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position inside his own half.

    The Brazilian left a foot in on Jimenez.

    16. Maguire plays a quick ball wide to Shaw on the left-hand side.

    The left-back hesitates slipping the ball down the line for summer signing Sancho.

    And when he eventually plays the pass, Sancho is flagged for offside.

    The winger decides to lay the ball wide to Jimenez this time instead of shooting.

    The No9 cuts back onto his right foot and gets a shot off, but it takes a deflection before eventually being cleared.
