Jake Paul calls Tommy Fury ‘fanboy’ after Love Island star ‘lined up and took pictures’ with YouTuber and brother Logan

JAKE PAUL called Tommy Fury a ‘fanboy’ after he ‘lined up and took pictures’ with the YouTuber and his brother Logan.

The Pauls in 2018 travelled to Manchester to fight fellow YouTubing brothers KSI and ‘Deji’.

And they set up their camp in Ricky Hatton’s gym, where at the time Tommy was training.

The future Love Island star, who is brother to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, then posed for a photo with Logan.

Fast forward three years and Fury is now rivalling Jake, who blasted the light-heavyweight for taking a picture with him.

He told The Mirror: “He asked to take a picture with me. I don’t know if he ever uploaded it.

“This guy is a fanboy, it’s funny you mention that because I clearly remember it was him and his little ‘boxer’ friends and I had no idea who these guys were.

“They all sort of lined up and took pictures with us, it’s just funny how this has evolved since really that moment.”

Paul, 24, later went on to beat Deji, while Logan, 26, drew with KSI, 28, but lost the rematch a year later when they turned professional.

Also turning pro was Paul, who has since gone 3-0 all by knockout, and returns on August 29 against ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39.

He will look to add to his wins over online rival ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37.

On Paul’s undercard is 6-0 Fury, who faces his sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32, in what will be his US debut.

A win for both celebrity fighters sets them up for an expected pay-per-view fight of their own.

“This guy is a fanboy, it’s funny you mention that because I clearly remember it was him and his little ‘boxer’ friends and I had no idea who these guys were.

Jake Paul on Tommy Fury

Paul said: “It was my idea to bring Tommy over.

“I’ve been trying to do that for a while, I even wanted him on the undercard of my fight with Ben Askren, but it wasn’t possible.

“We’ve finally made it happen and I want to see what this kid is made of; I want to see how he resonates with a US audience and put him a bigger platform.

“Let’s be honest, nobody’s ever bought a Tommy Fury pay-per-view, nobody tunes in and buys pay-per-views to watch Tommy Fury.

“Maybe people see that he won because he posts about it on Instagram, but nobody’s ever actually bought a Tommy Fury pay-per-view so I have to build him up.”
