JACK WILSHERE has tipped his former club Arsenal to mount a top-four challenge this season.
The 2021-22 Premier League campaign starts on Friday night when Arsenal travel to league newcomers Brentford.

Wilshere predicts Manchester City’s dominance at the top of the league to continue.
And expects Manchester United to keep up their steady progress made under boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Free agent Wilshere also expects Chelsea and Liverpool to occupy the final two top four spots – but thinks Arsenal will be in the mix for Champions League football.
He told talkSPORT: “Manchester City will win it. I would prefer Man United to win it but I think they come second.
“Chelsea third, Liverpool fourth, Arsenal fifth and Leicester sixth.
“I played against Man City so many times and it’s awful, it’s horrible.

“You can’t get the ball off them. Pep just gets them playing these little passes. If they get Harry Kane as well it’s over before we even start.”
Wilshere won’t be facing any of the top-four hopefuls anytime soon as he finds himself without a club.
The former England international was let go from Bournemouth at the end of last season.
But has been training with a club to keep his fitness up.
When asked about his future on talkSPORT about his future by co-host Darren Bent, he said: “Erm… woah… that’s a big question, Benty.

“But, having said that, nothing has come up at the minute and there’s nothing happening.
“I don’t know the answer to that question to be honest, mate.”
