TYSON FURY’S one-day-old baby daughter is in intensive care, the champion boxer revealed today.
Little Athena was born on Sunday but was taken to ICU, where she is stable, the Gypsy King said on Instagram as he asked his followers to pray for her.
Fury is “hopeful” Athena will come out of intensive care today and added that wife Paris is “doing great”.
The Gypsy King announced the birth of Athena, his sixth child, on social media on Sunday.
Fury wrote on Instagram this morning: “Massive thanks for all the messages and support.
“The baby is in a stable position and doing well – hopefully she comes out of ICU today.
“Please keep baby Athena in your prayers.
“Paris is doing great. God bless.”
‘PLEASE PRAY’
Fury and wife Paris asked fans and followers to pray for their sixth child when they confirmed she had been delivered.
He wrote: “Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning. Athena Fury born 8/8/21. Thanks. God is great.”
Athena is their third daughter – following Venezuela, 11, and Valencia Amber, three.
Their boys are Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four, and one-year-old Prince Adonis Amaziah.
SunSport previously reported that the 32-year-old had raced back to the UK for the birth – after coming out of isolation following his Covid diagnosis.
Fury is understood to have tested positive after the virus ripped through his US training camp where he was preparing for a rematch with Deontay Wilder, 35.
And Paris shared a video of her other half keeping an eye on proceedings at Eddie Hearn’s Fight Camp from the hospital on Saturday night.
The short clip was captioned with a laughing emoji: “Even in this situation he’s watching the boxing.”
Family man Fury claimed last month that he wants another five kids with Paris ahead of Athena’s arrival.
