ARSENAL fans went wild after transfer target Houssem Aouar’s brother and agent was spotted in London.
The playmaker has been linked with a move to the club and is expected to leave Lyon.
Aouar’s brother Brahim was spotted in London, through an Instagram story, sparking fresh talk of a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have reportedly made a £17million offer for the Lyon midfielder.
This would be a cut-price deal for the 23-year-old after he was linked with a £50m move last year.
Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to bring in the versatile attacker with Aouar, who scored eight goals last season, able to play centrally or on the wing.
Lyon turned down a £34m offer last year but the pandemic has affected clubs across Europe and Aouar could leave for a significantly reduced fee this summer.
His agent’s trip to London has only increased the speculation over his future and a move to the Premier League could be on the cards.
One optimistic fan said on Twitter: “He’s house hunting for his brother/client. Welcome to Arsenal.”

The Gunners certainly need to strengthen their squad after a miserable season which ended with them missing out on qualification for Europe.
Aouar has two years remaining on his contract, which expires in June 2023.
ESPN claim the player is open to joining a Premier League club and is not put off by Arsenal’s lack of European involvement.
