JOE COLE is selling his luxurious Merseyside mansion for a staggering £2.25million.
The former Liverpool midfielder, 39, played for the Reds between 2010 and 2013 after leaving Chelsea.
Cole had spent his entire life in London, working his way through the youth ranks at West Ham before his 2003 move to the Blues.
But after three years at Anfield – one of which was spent on loan at current French champions Lille – Cole returned to West Ham and later wound down his career at Aston Villa, Coventry and Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Now, EIGHT years after quitting Liverpool, BT Sport pundit Cole is flogging his spacious Merseyside home.
The ‘Art Deco/Miami-style’ home comes complete with five large bedrooms – all of which have an ensuite.
The master bedroom even boasts swanky bi-fold doors which open onto a balcony overlooking the sprawling front garden, as well as an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
Downstairs, the show-stopping entrance hall features a central wooden and glass staircase.
A large, open-plan kitchen leads to a utility room, with a dining room, lounge AND TV room also on the ground floor.
But arguably the best features of 56-cap former England international Cole’s property lie outside.

The Liverpool pad features a heated pool, perfect for summer days – and evenings – and is protected on three sides by the house for maximum privacy.
There is also a standalone structure in the garden which serves as an outdoor gym, but could also be a games room.
There are three separate patio areas in the landscaped gardens, all connected by decking.
At the front of the property is a secure, electric gate which open onto a long, paved driveway.
The property also comes complete with a spacious garage with an automatic door.
