MANCHESTER CITY have reportedly competed the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Metinho.
The Premier League champions have landed the 18-year-old talent after agreeing a deal with Fluminense.
Man City have reportedly clinched a deal to sign the highly-rated midfielder on a five-year contract.
But the teenager is expected to be sent out on loan with a potential move to France to join Troyes on the cards.
The French club are part of City’s sister group and will offer an opportunity for Metinho to develop his skills in Europe.
Metinho has been described as the ‘Brazilian Pogba’ after his impressive midfield attributes.
The teenager captained Fluminense’s Under-17s to Brasileirao trophy glory and the Copa do Brasil final in 2020.

And Metinho was rewarded with a first-team debut in March as a host of European clubs stepped up their interest in him.
Arsenal were linked with a move for Metinho but Man City have won the race to sign the hot prospect.
The Gunners were hoping to follow up the success of signing Brazilian talent Gabriel Martinelli but have missed out on Metinho.
