EDIN DZEKO is reportedly in talks with Los Angeles Galaxy over a summer switch to the States.
But the Bosnian striker could be convinced to stay at Roma thanks to the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager.
Dzeko, 35, has been in the Italian capital since 2016 after leaving Manchester City.
His future in Rome beyond this season has been the subject of speculation for some time and reports in Italy said he was set to leave.
But now Corriere Dello Sport think that Mourinho joining next season could tempt Dzeko into staying put.
Mourinho will take charge of the Serie A club next season – after working as a SunSport columnist during this summer’s Euros.
The report adds that the 35-year-old’s family are keen on a move to Los Angeles.
His wife Amra Dzeko moved to LA in 2010 to be a model and met Dzeko while he was on tour with Man City, the report states.
They now have three children together after tying the knot in Rome in 2016, while Amra also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
Man City recently turned down the chance to re-sign 2012 title hero Dzeko to boost their depleted striking options.

He left the Etihad five years ago but City fans retain fond memories of his big contribution to two Premier League titles.
But Pep Guardiola said: “He’s a Roma player and I will never discuss this kind of situation.
“My feeling is that we will finish the season with everyone that we started the season with, except maybe one player that everyone knows may be moving (Eric Garcia).
“I don’t think anything else will happen. We will see in the final few days.”
