DEONTAY WILDER is going back to basics as he prepares for revenge on Tyson Fury by throwing massive lumps of wood around by a lake.
The American has turned the heavyweight division on its head this week after appearing to derail the planned battle between old foe Fury and Anthony Joshua.
The two Brits looked set to finally face off in Saudi Arabia on August 14.
However, the Court of Arbitration has ordered Fury to fulfill his contractual obligations and fight Wilder for a third and final time.
Wilder is able to step aside to allow the Battle of Britain to go ahead but is likely to demand a pay-off in the region of a staggering £14million.
Either way, he doesn’t appear eager to allow the Saudi showdown to get the green light without his say – and has even claimed he wants ‘Fury’s blood’, not money.
Wilder showed he is keeping in terrific shape in a workout video as he went old school by lifting what looked like an old railway sleeper.
Alongside the video he wrote the caption: “Revenge is the sweetest JOY.”
Wilder hasn’t fought since his WBC title defeat to Fury in February 2020.
An immediate rematch was written into the contract but that was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Fury’s team then argued the stipulation expired in October.
Fury hit out at Wilder after the news of the trilogy demand broke and labelled the Bronze Bomber a ‘joke.’
He wrote online: “What a joke @bronzebomber has become asked for 20 million to move over #joker looks like I have to crack his skull again!”
Even AJ couldn’t resist having his say and joked he wants to set up a GoFundMe for Wilder.
He posted on social media: “I’m thinking about starting a go fund me page to raise money for wilders step aside payment £20,000,000.
“So I can smoke that fat guy with skinny legs from Manchester.
“These heavyweights need a podcast or something cas they do more talking than fighting.”
It now looks as though the trilogy could go ahead this summer, with AJ forced to fight WBO mandatory Oleksandr Usyk in the meantime.
