FEYENOORD fans broke into the club’s stadium during the team’s victory against RKC Waalwijk.
With the Dutch side winning 3-0, masked supporters let off fireworks and flares before the players CLAPPED them.
Just after the hour mark, dozens of fans made their way into one of the stands at De Kuip, singing and letting off pyrotechnics.
The Feyenoord faithful – known as Het Legioen – are some of the most passionate supporters in Dutch football.
The match stopped following the intrusion as substitutes and coaches made their way on to the pitch in an attempt to avoid the mob.
The supporters did not attempt to go on to the pitch and confront the players, but they did throw flares.
The Feyenoord team then began clapping the fans to acknowledge their presence and they soon left the ground voluntarily.
The 1970 European champions haven’t had a great season – finishing fifth in the Eredivisie – although the fans aren’t believed to have been protesting.

Feyenoord are currently managed by former Sunderland and Rangers boss Dick Advocaat.
Speaking after the match, the team’s captain Steven Berghuis explained why the players remained on the pitch and applauded the fans.
He told ESPN: “It wouldn’t have made sense to go [to the dressing room room].
“As players we would not have wanted that and I think we have solved it well.”
Feyenoord must now win a four-team play-off if they wish to qualify for next season’s Europa League.
Utrecht, Groningen and Sparta Rotterdam are the other teams competing in the end of season tournament.
