Leicester hero Jamie Vardy SLEEPS with FA Cup medal round his neck as wife Rebekah shares candid snap

LEICESTER striker Jamie Vardy slept with his FA Cup winners’ medal after the Foxes lifted the trophy for the first time in their history.

Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley to clinch a memorable FA Cup triumph after four previous final defeats.

And Vardy’s wife Rebekah shared the hilarious image of her husband wearing the medal while asleep in bed.

Alongside the photo, she said: “Yep he actually slept with this on. Same with the Premier League medal.”

The FA Cup triumph comes five years after Vardy won the Premier League title with the Foxes in incredible fashion.

The former England international has been with Leicester since 2012, scoring 145 goals in 350 games for the club.

In a separate post after the FA Cup triumph, Vardy’s wife Rebekah uploaded a snap of Jamie, 34, clutching the trophy while he looked towards the Leicester fans with a smile on his face.

The mother-of-four said: “You never cease to amaze me @vardy7.

“We’re so proud of everything you have achieved and we love you so, so much ❤️ #lcfc #facup.”

Jamie also hopped on the social media platform and posted the same picture of himself that his wife uploaded and exclaimed: “FA Cup…completed it mate! 💙”

Leicester will now look to round off their season in style by securing their place in the top four of the Premier League.

Rodgers’ men can guarantee Champions League qualification if they beat Chelsea again on Tuesday in another crunch clash, just 72 hours after they met at Wembley.

Liverpool are breathing down their necks and will look to take full advantage whatever the result when they travel to Burnley on Wednesday.
