  • FIGHT REPORT

From Wally Downes Jr at York Hall..

Felix Cash snatched the British middleweight title from Denzel Bentley with a smash-and-grab round three stoppage.

The 28-year-old put his Commonwealth belt on the line in his bid to add the Lonsdale to his haul and cashed out by stunning his Battersea rival early in their thrilling encounter.

The first two rounds were terrific with plenty of quality, bottle and grit.

But Bentley, 26, had his senses snatched away in the third, when he was pinned on the ropes, and had to be saved by the referee before he was battered to the floor.

  • CASH SPEAKS

“I stunned him in the first round and I knew I would stop him, says Felix Cash.

“He wasn’t as awkward as I thought he’d be.”

  • ROUND THREE – IT’S ALL OVER

HUGE, HUGE right hand sends Bentley to the ropes. He seems dazed and Cash continues the onslaught.

    CASH WINS VIA STOPPAGE!

  • ROUND TWO

Cash continues to charge forward, but Bentley has caught him with a couple of nice jabs.

Warming up nicely here. Can Bentley find himself some space?

  • ROUND ONE

Cracking opener at the York Hall.

Couple of solid right hands landed for Cash who has started on the front foot.

Could be in for a treat here..

  • BENTLEY VS CASH

And on the day of DMX’s funeral, out comes Denzel Bentley to the sounds of the late rapper.

You could cut the tension with a knife.

    Here we go!

  • BENTLEY VS CASH

    Main event is HERE!

The challenger Felix Cash is out first…

  • BENTLEY VS CASH

And the main event is up NEXT!

A mouthwatering 50/50 is in store when Denzel Bentley takes on Felix Cash for the British and Commonwealth middleweight titles.

A bad-tempered sparring session has fuelled a grudge between the two. Who will win tonight?

  • GUESS WHO’S BACK

Callum Johnson just reminded the world of his power and sent a warning notice around the 175lbs division.

The Boston banger was clipped a couple of times as he blew off the cobwebs after two years out.

But he remains a devestating puncher and a ruthless finisher.

  • ROUND TWO – JOHNSON WINS KO

Johnson looked like he might have that wrapped up in the first few seconds but Markic clipped him back and cut his left eye.

A loud left hook from Johnson lands and Markic is dabbing and pawing at his broken face.

Two hooks crack into Markic’s ribs but Johnson’s nose seems to be leaking some blood now too.

Markic is hurt and pinned on the ropes getting battered. The ref jumps in to save the brave visitor!

  • ROUND ONE

Ominous entrance from Markic. Johnson much more jovial with Chesney Hawkes.

Johnson with Joe Gallagher in his corner with the masterplan.

Massive right hand from Johnson bangs Markic into the ropes but he is a hard geezer.

Heavy-handed Johnson has already smashed a horrible bruise onto his rival’s left cheek.

Johnson is stunned by a massive shot – somehow he stays up – crazy round!

  • GORE-MAN

David Adeleye has been calling Nathan Gorman out recently.

It was actually the Nantwich man who suggested he beat Kamil Sokolowski first.

And he has given his verdict…

  • HEART GROWS FONDER

The forgotten man of the British light-heavyweight divison is back.

Can Callum Johnson thrill fight fans again or have the likes of Anthony Yarde, Joshua Buatsi and Lyndon Arthur overtaken him?

  • YEAR OVER

Two years since his last fight, Callum Johsnon returns next.

The 18-1 light-heavyweight makes his Frank Warren and BT Sport debut against Emil Markic who is a decent 32-2.

What has the 35-year-old got left after his failed world title shot at Artur Beterbiev in 2018?

Can he relaunch his career tonight?

  • DAVID ADELEYE WINS

    It was tighter than expected.

    The ref called that 58-57.

A great step-up and learning fight for the prospect but also a warning he has a lot of learning to do if he wants to challenge rivals like Nathan Gorman.

  • ROUND SIX

Sokolowski catches Adeleye with an accidental headbutt and Adeleye replies with a rabbit punch that gets a warning.

Violent ending to the fight with both giants throwing bombs.

Sokolowskere has given Adeleye hell in there but it could be the making of the 24-year-old.

Expect a comfortable Adeleye decision win from ref Marcus McDonnell next

  • ROUND FIVE

Crisp jabbing from Adeleye but Sokolowski remains a threat and is not wilting.

Sokolowski flicks a lazy jab and Adeleye clips him with a right hand.

Great jab from the West Londoner rocks Sokolowski’s head back.

Sokolowski is giving Adeleye great rounds here but the prospect needs to get the win more than the experience.

  • ROUND FOUR

Sokolowski is warned for rabbit punches and Adeleye finally gets his jab going in ones and twos.

Sokolowsk lands a right hand and Adeleye proves his chin for the first time in his pro career.

The round ends with Sokolowski pinning the Brit on the ropes again but Adeleye scoring the better shots.

  • ROUND THREE

Everyone in York Hall is urging Adeleye to jab more but he’s loading up on right hands.

Heavy one-two from Adeleye scores but Sokolowski seems to like the punishment.

Caroline Dubois and David Haye are both bellowing help to the Ladbroke Grove ace.

  • ROUND TWO

Sokolowski throws a double jab and adeleye clips back with a left hook.

A right hand seems to wobble Sokolowski but he remains upright.

Sokolowski is holding and grabbing and spoiling which is handy for Adeleye to experience but no good for us to watch.

Sokolowski lands a left hook and fires into Adeleye’s body. Another good round.

  • ROUND ONE

Sokolowski has been in with Webb, Whyte and Nathan Gorman and is a bonafide gatekeeper.

Adeleye is the red-hot new kid on the block.

Sokolowski launches himself at the prospect and Adeleye enjoys his first bit of pro pressure.

Massive right hand from Adeleye smashes into Sokolowski’s skull and bounces off.

Another right loops in and cracks Sokolowski’s forehead but the Pole keeps coming until the bell.

  • KAMIL SOKOLOWSKI vs DAVID ADELEYE

West London’s Adeleye has promoter Frank Warren very excited but this is a massive step-up.

Sokolowski has a KO win over Nick Webb on his record and has been in with the likes of Dillian Whyte.

Can the 5-0 Portobello prodigy continue his assault on the heavyweight scene right now?

  • PAGE TURNER

Class southpaw Henry Turner gets every round against Clayton Bricknell.

    The ref scores it 60-54.

The Showm,an is going to grow into another southpaw talent out of Al Smith’s ibox gym down in Bromley alongside Dennis McCann.

  • MAIN EVENT ENTRIES

Battersea boy Denzel Bentley has arrived at York Hall.
