Chelsea forgotten man Charly Musonda sends Thomas Tuchel message he is fit and ready after 15-MONTHS out injured

CHELSEA’S forgotten man Charly Musonda has sent Thomas Tuchel a message: I’m still alive and kicking.

The Belgian midfielder, 24, has been at Stamford Bridge since 2012.

However he has made just seven senior appearances since his arrival.

And they all came three seasons ago.

Former Under-21 international Musonda has had spells on loan to Real Betis, Celtic and Vitesse Arnhem.

But he has been forced to spend the last 15 months on the sidelines with knee problems.

However the Brussels-born ace is nearing full fitness, and hopes Tuchel will soon include him in the Blues’ squad.

Musonda still has just over a year to go on his contract and is hoping to earn himself a new deal.

And he took to social media to post a clip of himself on Instagram at Chelsea’s Cobham training base showing off a range of ball-juggling tricks.

Musonda captioned it with: “I love football, and I will be back.”

Musonda was rated one of Belgian football’s hottest prospects when Chelsea recruited him from Anderlecht nine years ago.

He has since struggled to make his name at Stamford Bridge.

Now it appears he hopes to finally break through into the first-team set-up once he regains full fitness.
