BRUNO FERNANDES has named Cristiano Ronaldo as one of three former Manchester United stars he’d like to play with.
Responding to a Twitter Q&A, United’s talisman also admitted that he’d like to have starred alongside Wayne Rooney and Eric Cantona.
The 26-year-old took to social media to see if his followers had any questions.
He was asked: “Which former United player do you wish you could play with in this team?”
To which he responded: “Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney or Cantona.”
Several Twitter users responded to the Portuguese star’s comments, with many asking the club to make a move for Ronaldo.
Fernandes joined United after the now retired Rooney had left in 2017 – and he was just a toddler when Cantona quit playing in 1997.
But he has played with Ronaldo at international level, with both starring in Portugal’s win against Holland in the 2019 Nations League final.

Juventus are reportedly interested in selling their star player for just £25million this summer – and it appears Fernandes would welcome him with open arms.
He recently defended Ronaldo after his international colleague was criticised for Juventus’ shock Champions League exit to Porto.
And Fernandes has taken some stick himself – but not for his work on the pitch, with United team-mate David de Gea trolling his Q&A selfie.
The playmaker will not care, though, as he’s made a fabulous start to his Old Trafford career – winning FOUR Premier League Player of the Month awards in 2020.
