CHELSEA removed the ‘In Frank We Trust’ banner from Stamford Bridge out of respect for Thomas Tuchel.
The Blues took the tribute to Frank Lampard down ahead of their 2-0 win over Burnley at Stamford Bridge but left it in place for the German’s first home game against Wolves.

Chelsea fans had clubbed together to have the £1,000 banner made and it read: “In Frank we trust. Then. Now. Forever.”
Blues supporter group We Are The Shed took credit for the decision on Twitter after the 0-0 draw with Wolves at the Bridge.
They tweeted: “We asked for the banner to stay in place for today’s game in honour of Lampard and what he achieved with us.
“We have also asked for it to be removed after tonight out of respect to Tuchel and his team. #ThankYouSuperFrank.”
We Are The Shed raised £1,000 to have the 15m x 1.5m banner made in support of Lampard before he was sacked.
It made its Stamford Bridge debut in the 3-1 FA Cup victory over Luton last Sunday, which proved to be Lampard’s final game.
In the aftermath, the group’s co-creator Alex Burke told SunSport fans would have protested the decision to sack the club legend.
Burke said: “We are thankful we had one game where the banner was on show.

“Of the £1000 needed about 75 per cent was raised by our group, with the other 25 per cent through social media.
“Any excess donations went to Reece James’ charity, which Lampard himself ended up donating to as well. That just sums up the man he was and the connection he had with us.
“It just feels like a slap in the face. As a group we were hoping that the fact they even allowed the banner in meant they would be backing Frank, but that wasn’t the case.”
There is another Lampard banner in the Matthew Harding stand which is staying put.
