Jake Paul hires plane in latest dig at ‘scared’ Conor McGregor as YouTuber chases £37m fight with UFC superstar

JAKE PAUL made his latest play at winding up Conor McGregor by flying a banner labelling the fighter ‘scared’ of the YouTuber.

A plane flew over South Beach in Miami taking aim at the Irishman – who is in Abu Dhabi preparing for UFC 257.

While McGregor continues his bid to reclaim his lightweight throne, Paul continues to try and rile him.

On Wednesday, the American posted a video of a banner flying over the Atlantic coast.

It read: “Conor McGregor is scared of Jake Paul.”

A guffawing pal filmed the plane and ran over to the 24-year-old, who was sat nonchalantly on his phone alongside two women and a bottle of champagne.

Paul looked up at the banner and shrugged: “Ah yeah, he’s a b****.”

He captioned the clip: “Damn Conor… the whole world is starting to realise it…”

In two pro boxing fights, the internet sensation has claimed a pair of victories over YouTube rival AnEsonGib and former NBA star Nate Robinson.

McGregor has recently entered Paul’s crosshair with the bid announced in an expletive-filled online rant that also took aim at his partner, Dee Devlin.

He recently tucked into a chicken takeaway that he likened to the Notorious.

And Paul even wants a fight with Floyd Mayweather when the 50-0 legend is done with brother Logan.

McGregor, who has only fought one pro boxing contest, is yet to respond directly to being called out but has suggested he is a fan of celebrity-fighting events.

The Irishman recently Bloomberg: “Am I into those competitions myself?

“You know it’s not the most high-level – if any level – at that stage.

“Obviously the [Mike] Tyson vs [Roy] Jones [Jr] fight was very high level and very interesting to see what they’re like in their older age. I thought they both fought amazingly.

“As they say, if it makes dollars, it makes sense. I know Dana [White] and the UFC are not really into it, but I’m not so against it.

“I think if people are willing to get in and take the risk of making that walk, I’m certainly a viewer.”
