ROY KEANE slammed Chelsea’s performance as ‘shocking’ after Manchester City put them to the sword.
Pep Guardiola’s side taught Frank Lampard a lesson as they bagged three first-half goals through Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne.

Callum Hudson-Odoi grabbed a late consolation but the hosts looked miles off the pace throughout and City could have scored more if they had taken their chances.
The defeat leaves Chelsea in eighth, three points off fourth with the pressure mounting on boss Lampard.
And Manchester United legend Keane was critical of their performance, particularly in attack.
Analysing their first half showing, he said on Sky Sports: “The attacking players need to show up.
“We spoke before the game, we said they have a lot of quality, but to me they don’t look like they’re up to it. What do Chelsea need?
“They’ve been shocking, particularly the attacking players.
“They’ve not showed up at all. I’m looking at some of the experienced lads… the biggest criticism I can say to Chelsea today is to me they don’t look like they’re up for it.

“They’re not putting any tackles in, they’re not showing any aggression. You need that, particularly against a good team like City.”
Lampard will have serious concerns over the form of Timo Werner.
A £47.5million summer signing from RB Leipzig, the German international is on a stretch of 12 games in all competitions without a goal.
After the contest Lampard admitted their first half performance cost them the game.
He said: “Mistakes, individual mistakes, not getting close enough.
“They punished us. If you want to reach the top level which City have been for a few years now you have to accept the pressures.
“The second half we competed but at 3-0 the game was pretty much done.
“I am not trying to talk up the last 20 minutes of the game because at 3-0 the vitals of the game have changed but I was still looking for a reaction.
“I am not putting ourselves down. I am the man to have the reality check and there will be work and at times pain.
“Today was painful in the first half in football terms because their level of play show where we need to aspire to. In the second half I saw a reaction but the work needs to be done.”
