Tottenham WILL allow Dele Alli to leave on permanent transfer this January after five-years of service with PSG keen

TOTTENHAM will sanction a permanent January move for Dele Alli after giving the club five years of service, according to reports.

The Telegraph reports Spurs will permit the 24-year-old to leave North London after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

Alli has failed to make a Premier League starting XI since the opening game of the season and Spurs will look to cash in for market value – with French giants Paris Saint-Germain interested.

The report states club chiefs would also consider a six-month loan with the hope Alli’s value could increase with some regular playing time.

And it appears Mourinho wants to keep fellow outcast Harry Winks – restricted to Europa League starts for the last two months – but will let Alli go for the right deal.

Alli failed to make it off the bench despite the former Manchester United and Chelsea boss using all FIVE subs against Antwerp on Thursday.

Winks did start the game but was hooked on the hour mark and looked suitably unimpressed – heading straight down the tunnel.

Alli’s stock has dropped considerably since he played a starring role in England’s run to the 2018 World Cup semi-finals.

A regular under Mauricio Pochettino, Alli has not been seen in a Mourinho Premier League matchday squad since the start of October.

The Portuguese boss has admitted it is ‘impossible’ to keep all his stars happy.

Alli’s meteoric rise after arriving from League One MK Dons in 2015 saw him become a regular for club and country.

But he has scored two goals in only eight appearances this season for Spurs.

PSG were interested in taking Alli to Ligue 1 on a season-long loan in the summer and once again are set to renew their interest in a temporary move in the New Year.

Jose Mourinho insists it is not up to him whether Dele Alli is sold in January amid PSG transfer links
