Tomas Soucek had tapped West Ham ahead before Paul Pogba scored a controversial equaliser and then Mason Greenwood bagged a brilliant strike to put the Red Devils ahead.

GOODBYE
Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes are the two names on the lips of Manchester United fans this evening, but it may as well be Jekyll and Hyde such was the difference in their first and second half displays at the London Stadium.
After an appalling opening 45 minutes, Ole Gunnar Solkskjaer turned to his two stars on the bench, and they repaid his faith with scintillating showings that inspired the Old Trafford club to a ninth consecutive away win.
Behind to Tomas Soucek’s close range finish, United could have been even further adrift if Sebastian Haller, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen had taken their clear-cut chances.
Yet United are making a habit of comebacks, and did so for the fifth consecutive away game.
A Paul Pogba stunner brought United level before Mason Greenwood and Rashford added exquisite finishes of their own to turn the contest on its head in the blink of an eye.
A muscle injury to Anthony Martial was the one black mark against United’s second half performance, and the Frenchman is now a doubt for Tuesday’s crucial Champions League clash at RB Leipzig.
Perhaps more concern for that contest is which United turn up in Germany.
There’s much more Premier League football to come this weekend, starting at Stamford Bridge where Leeds have taken an early lead against Chelsea.
In the meantime, thanks for being with us at the London Stadium and goodnight.

OLE’S REACTION

RASHFORD RALLIES UNITED
Along with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford also came off the bench at half-time and had a big say in Manchester United’s latest second half comeback. The forward has been discussing his side’s knack of recovering after falling behind.
We need to stop doing that! If we keep more clean sheets, we’ll definitely win more games.
It’s good that we show spirit to come back when we concede a goal, but ideally we don’t want to be conceding.
They have some dangerous players, and you could see it in the first half. On the counter-attack, they had some big threats.
We managed to get through it at 1-0, and once you get to half-time it’s an opportunity to regroup and we came out for the second half with renewed focus.
It’s not about what [the manager] says, but what we can see on the pitch. It was clear in the first half that we didn’t get in behind them enough.
I think in the second half, the team knew what we had to do it and it was just a case of going out, working hard and doing it.

BRUNO’S IMPACT
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turned to Bruno Fernandes at half-time with his side struggling, and the Portuguese maestro once again inspired United to a second half comeback.

Juan Mata’s instinctive first time pass over the West Ham defence sends Marcus Rashford clear, and this time the forward keeps his cool to beat Lukasz Fabianski.
