Coutinho endured a miserable start to his Barcelona career before he was shipped out on loan to Bayern Munich.

He has rediscovered his form this season under the watchful eye of Ronald Koeman.

But the Brazilian is reportedly stalling over signing a new contract with the LaLiga club.

And the 28-year-old has admitted it is ‘impossible’ to say where his future in football lies.

Speaking to the magazine World Soccer: “The Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world.

“To have the chance to play for a team like Liverpool will always be something I feel grateful for.

“It’s impossible to say what could happen in the future or not.

“But right now my only objective is to have success with Barcelona.”

Arsenal have also been heavily linked with a move for the 63-cap Brazil international.

Koeman has managed to bring out the best of Coutinho after he reshuffled his formation.

Coutinho looks noticeably bigger than last season after he piled on nine pounds of muscle while away on loan.
