MARCUS RASHFORD’s odds of winning Sports Personality of the Year have been slashed after a flurry of bets.
It’s in response to the Manchester United star’s continued challenging of the government after forcing them into an embarrassing U-turn earlier this year.

The inspirational England striker, 22, took Boris Johnson’s party to task over scrapping free school meal vouchers.
His campaign on social media, motivated by first-hand experience of the huge difference the vouchers could make, saw millions of kids avoid going hungry during the school holidays.
Rashford’s acts of charity have seen him earn praise from politicians such as London mayor Sadiq Khan and Ex-England cricketer Kevin Pietersen.
It’s also seen him become the most popular pick with punters to win the prestigious BBC award.
Now priced at 4/1, Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Rashford’s earning plenty of fans with his off-field endeavours, and punters are backing him accordingly to walk away as this year’s SPOTY winner.”

But he’s not the only coronavirus-related contender for the award.
Sir Captain Tom Moore is in the running after the 100-year-old lifted the spirits of the nation by walking laps of his garden in support of the NHS.
His incredible efforts saw him knighted and raise £39million to help in the battle against the killer disease.
The national treasure, whose life is set to be made into a movie, is priced at 20/1.
Fitness instructor Joe Wicks, 34, is also at 20/1 with his online workouts helping families keep in shape from their living rooms during the initial lockdown.

Fury could fight Wilder in a trilogy fight before the year is out.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton, who looks on course to match Michael Schumacher’s record of seven F1 world titles, is priced at 3/1.
The speedster has also been a vocal supporter in the fight against racism and climate change.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, who won his sixth snooker world title in August, is also at 3/1.
