Alongside Jadon Sancho Man United reps were rumoured to be keeping tabs on Brooks, 23, back in May.
Officials from the Old Trafford giants were reported to be highly impressed by the youngster who plays for Ryan Giggs Wales side at international level
However, Manchester Evening News claim Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester are looking the likeliest of the player’s Prem suitors to land his signature.
Brooks, 23, has enjoyed a productive spell at Bournemouth after joining the south coast club for a fee of around £10million in the summer of 2018.
The Welsh starlet netted eight goals and provided five assists across all competitions since his joining the side under former boss Eddie Howe,
And the midfielder was rewarded with a big pay rise in January last year in a bid to fend off overtures from Tottenham and Man United.
But last July Brooks faced a battle with injury problems after suffering ankle ligament damage which was expected to keep him out of action until December 2019.
However the Wales midfielder had to undergo a second operation.
It meant the player was unable to make an appearance for the club until their 2-0 loss against Crystal Palace in June this year.
Despite the injury issues Brooks’ talent has attracted the attention of some the Premier League’s top sides
And Manchester Evening News claim the starlet is expecting an offer from the Foxes who finished fifth in the League last season.
