DANIEL DUBOIS has shared his delight after Tyson Fury compared him to Ivan Drago – even though he doesn’t know who the fictional Rocky character is.
The Gypsy King, 32, recently piled praise on the young British boxer, comparing him to the hard-hitting Russian from 1985 film Rocky IV.

Fury had told BT Sport: “Daniel Dubois. He’s a big, strong lad and whatever he hits falls.
“He’s a big like Ivan Drago, isn’t he? ‘I will hit you and break you, no matter what happens’.”
Responding to the comparison, Dubois revealed while he has no idea who Drago is, he’s just happy to receive praise from someone like Fury.
Dubois, 22, told The Mirror: “I don’t know who Ivan Drago is.
“But it’s nice when someone like Tyson Fury praises you.
“He’s at the top of the tree, the No1 in the division, so that’s good.

‘CONFIDENCE BOOST’
Dubois continued by saying Fury has impressed him thanks to his ability to “win fights any way”, while saying it’s a “confidence boost” to be praised by the WBC heavyweight champion.
He added: “He beat Wladimir Klitschko to become world champion the first time and then he beat Deontay Wilder to do it again.
“It was the way he beat Wilder the second time and he beat him at his own game. He showed he can win fights any way.
“It doesn’t boost me, though. I don’t need people to say nice things about me to boost my confidence.
“I’m confident in my ability and what I can achieve if I continue to work hard and listen to those around me.”
Meanwhile, Dubois has tipped Fury to beat Anthony Joshua – having sparred both heavyweight champions.
Dubois told SPORTbible: “[I’d pick] Fury at the moment.
“His skill and his know-how, coupled with his confidence should beat Joshua.
“But it will be a really good fight. I wouldn’t be surprised if it went the other way and Joshua won.
“[Fury is] a masterful boxer – he’s learned his craft well.”
