Beckham, 44, has seen what an amazing impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic had on LA Galaxy and hopes Suarez can do the same in Miami.
And he believes Uruguayan striker Suarez would have massive appeal to the city’s large South American population, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Suarez is understood to be keen to move to the MLS.
Recently he said: “You never know. I have a contract with Barcelona but in the future it’s an attractive league. The USA is a nice option.”
His fellow Uruguay star Nico Lodeiro, who plays for Seattle Sounders, said last year: “Luis wants to come to the MLS.
“He always asks me questions about it. I think it is only a matter of time before he is here.”
Suarez has been at the Nou Camp since 2014 when he joined from Liverpool.
His contract is due to run out in 2021 but he has a clause that states if he plays 60 per cent of their matches next season, it will be automatically extended until 2022.
Suarez recently became Barcelona’s joint-third highest scorer of all-time in dramatic style after a sensational goal in the win over Villarreal.
It was the 33-year-old’s 194th goal for Barcelona in 277 appearances – matching Laszlo Kubala’s total set between 1951 and 1961.
Beckham’s dream of owning his own football team has got off to the worst possible start, with Inter Miami losing their first five games in a row.
But has has not ruled out the possibility of signing superstars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Becks was quizzed over the prospect of making star signings.
And the 44-year-old teased: “Well you know what, we’ve got great opportunities down in Miami.

“‘We’ve been contacted by a lot of different players over possibly coming to join the team.
“As with any owner, you really want the best players and if we have the opportunity to bring in players like Cristiano or Leo, I have such admiration for them as athletes, if we could bring those players in then great.”
However their highest profile signing remains £9.5million Mexican playmaker Rodolfo Pizarro.
