THE PREMIER LEAGUE is not awash with top quality right-wingers but the ones it does have are on another level.
Manchester City are blessed with two of the best while Liverpool’s is one of the greatest players in the Reds’ modern history.

Formations in this day and age often rely heavily on the attacking threat of widemen and that will remain true when the Premier League returns on June 17.
And here SunSport ranks the best five of the bunch.
1. MO SALAH
The 27-year-old will cement his place in Liverpool folklore over the next few weeks when the Reds inevitably lift the Premier League title.
His 16 goals and six assists from 26 games this season put him on track to equal his impressive total from last campaign of 22 and eight in 38 matches.

The Egyptian is virtually unplayable and with the equally terrifying Sadio Mane on the other wing it is the stuff of nightmares for full-backs.
He has created 12 big chances so far this season and is also a cool head from the penalty spot.
2. RIYAD MAHREZ
Manchester City’s Algerian wizard is in the unfortunate position of being one of four world class attacking midfielders at the Etihad.
The simple presence of Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva mean he is often rotated by Pep Guardiola.
But this season has seen him stamp more of his authority on the starting XI with 15 starts and 23 appearances in total.

His seven goals and eight assists combined with 14 big chances created have made him a valuable addition to City’s attacking roster.
And his dead ball ability is another string to his bow which has seen him net two free-kicks this campaign.
3. ADAMA TRAORE
Wolves’ battering ram Spaniard has flourished this season under Nuno Espirito Santo into one of the Premier League’s most fearful widemen.
His impressive physique, blistering pace and mammoth strength finally seem to have synced up with his touch and decision making.

The latter attributes have been lacking in previous campaigns but his four goals and seven assists in 28 appearances for the Midlands side this season prove how much the 24-year-old has matured.
The Barcelona academy product has provided a staggering 144 crosses this season much to the delight of Wolves’ equally talented front man Raul Jimenez.
4. BERNARDO SILVA
‘Why isn’t Silva ranked higher?!’
Well such is the Portuguese star’s talent, he is often used across the midfield by Guardiola and not exclusively as a right winger like his City teammate Mahrez.
But his performances are so impressive when he does pop up on the right, he had to be included in this list.

The pint-size 25-year-old seems destined to fill David Silva’s enormous shoes at the Etihad.
His stats do not tell the whole story with just five goals and five assists from 24 appearances so far this season but his overall contribution to the team is un-quantifiable.
5. ISMAILA SARR
Despite Watford’s lowly position of 17th in the table, the 22-year-old has been a shining light for the Hornets.
His five goals and three assists from just 19 appearances put him alongside some of the best in the league.

Watford captain Troy Deeney has sung the praises of the Senegalese – none more so than after his two goals in the Hertfordshire side’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool at Vicarage Road in February.
Even if Nigel Pearson’s side manage to stay up this season, they may struggle to keep hold of the talented youngster who was previously linked with Arsenal and Barcelona.
