Taylor is now expected to come back into the squad this weekend following his extended exile after lockdown was lifted.
The contract rebel feared he would put a move at risk but is now willing to carry on and put himself in the shop window.
Taylor’s stance had angered the club who were even looking into stopping his wages during his ‘strike’ before this dramatic U-turn.
His Charlton team-mates have been told of the shock change of mind and he will be welcomed despite some feeling his previous remarks were poor.
Taylor will start with personal training but could even make the squad for the crunch match at Hull City on Saturday.
In the meantime Bowyer’s squad are due for a run out with Fulham today as they finalise their programme.
It comes as new owner Paul Elliott promised fans to not do a Matt Southall after taking over at The Valley.
Former chairman Southall fell out spectacularly with Addicks fans after allegedly treating himself to a luxury Thames riverside apartment, Range Rover and expenses out of club funds.
But Elliott – who completed his takeover of controlling company East Street Investments – used his first interview to pledge he will not be draining resources from the South Londoners.
