According to UOL Esporte, Neymar’s camp were not aware of the crime until they were contacted by the press.

The Brazilian star’s entourage told UOL: “Obviously, Neymar has never sought out to use this programme and we do not know who has been able to do it.

“The player’s representatives weren’t even aware of this aid before being contacted by the press.”

Neymar is the third-highest paid player on the planet after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Paris-Saint Germain star has raked in £76.6million including £20m in endorsements.

It has also been revealed that he has pocketed £6.7m from Instagram – which breaks down to £617,000 per post.

Neymar has been heavily linked with a move back to Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.

PSG are reportedly willing to let their star man leave – but only for an “impossible” £156million.

Ex-Nou Camp president Sandro Rossell is adamant if he was still in charge of the club, he would make re-signing Neymar his No1 priority.
