Tottenham release new 2020-21 pink training kit… and fans fear other ‘s****ier’ leaked shirts will be just as bad

TOTTENHAM fans were left worried that worse was to come after the club released a new training kit for 2020/21.

Several leaks have suggested a series of unpopular design for next season’s Spurs shirts.

And Monday’s announcement of a salmon pink top left many on social media underwhelmed with Nike’s latest efforts.

The Premier League club signed a new 15-year deal with the American sportswear giant in 2017, worth £30million per season.

Spurs confirmed the short-sleeve 2020/21 training shirt can be purchased for £38 with a textured blue-and-yellow warm-up top available for £50.

Reaction was less than favourable among fans of the North London team, following on from similar responses to recent leaks.

Next season’s home shirt is set to feature a silver pattern across the usual white kit with blue trim, a design which was poorly received.

A yellow away kit is set to utilise a more basic layout, as will the green third strip.

Upon seeing the salmon-coloured training shirt, which comes with dark blue shorts, fans online made their feelings known.

One Spurs fan tweeted: “So the leaks are true then…we are getting sh***ier kits this season.”

Another simply added: “No no no no no no no no no no no.”

While one review came in as: “Cool. But not in that colour.”

Twitter user Dennis wrote: “Nike puts out terrible gear.”

And a Spurs supporter remarked: “Traditional Spurs colours I see.”

Fiona commented: “Time for a new design team I’m afraid.”

However Luke posted: “These are nicer than the awful kits x”
