EVERTON are reportedly lining up a shock move for Inter Milan flop Diego Godin.
The centre-back, 34, has failed to impress during his debut San Siro season following a free transfer from Atletico Madrid last summer.

Antonio Conte’s Serie A title hopefuls were delighted to secure Godin thanks to Atletico’s vast rebuilding project.
But the Uruguayan looked less than convincing in his 25 appearances and was eventually elbowed out of Conte’s three-man defence by youngster Alessandro Bastoni.
Calciomercato now claim Inter are ready to let Godin move on this summer.
And it’s reckoned Everton are shock frontrunners for the veteran’s signature.
Carlo Ancelotti is desperately seeking an experienced centre-half to steady the ship and bark orders from the bark.
He already has a space free in his squad after inheriting just three central defenders from Marco Silva earlier this season.
Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina have all done a decent job when called upon.
But Ancelotti believes he needs someone with a higher pedigree to help stabilise Everton’s leaky back line.
And Godin is believed to be open to a Premier League switch this summer.
That’s because he nearly came close to joining Manchester United a year ago.
The Red Devils are still thought to be monitoring Godin’s situation.
And there is even said to be some interest from Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho.
