Floyd Mayweather would beat Conor McGregor when he’s 58, claims his uncle Jeff as he admits he’d love to see rematch

FLOYD MAYWEATHER would still beat Conor McGregor when he is 58, according to the American’s uncle Jeff.

Back in 2017 Floyd stopped McGregor in the tenth round of their fight to make it to 50 unbeaten as a professional boxer.

McGregor has called for a rematch ever since his first defeat in the noble art, but Mayweather insists the Irishman is ‘scared’ of going toe-to-toe again.

The Money has admitted he could be tempted to lace up the gloves one more time – but it would take a £500MILLION offer for him to do so.

But according to his uncle Jeff, the result would be the same, and that would be a victory for his nephew.

TYSON PRAISES MCGREGOR

Speaking on his YouTube boxing channel, Jeff said: “I think realistically, Floyd would beat Conor McGregor ten years from now, maybe 15 years from now, if he chose to.

Asked if he wanted to see the rematch, Jeff added: “I would love it, that’s easy money.

“I’d f***ing fight Conor, I’d take that cheque, I might even let him win.”

That would make Floyd 58-years-old, while McGregor would be 46.

Jeff’s comments came after boxing legend Mike Tyson praised McGregor for his boxing skills in that now-legendary 2017 fight.

The ‘Baddest Man On The Planet’ said: “Listen, he had never had a boxing match before in his life, right? He went 10 rounds with the greatest fighter in the last 100 years of boxing.

“He went 10 rounds, scored punches, on the greatest fighter in the last 100 years.”

I think Floyd could have knocked Conor McGregor out anytime he wanted to

But Jeff Mayweather was less-than convinced with what the two-weight UFC champ brought to the boxing ring.

He added: “I don’t think Mike Tyson said that s***.

“Okay, he implied it, but the thing is, did Conor McGregor win? I don’t give a f*** how good he did. Did he win?

“He gassed out. He got knocked out. I think Floyd could have knocked Conor McGregor out anytime he wanted to.

“And I don’t think he won one round.”

Another prospective opponent for McGregor if he chooses to have his second boxing fight is Manny Pacquiao.

But Jeff doesn’t give The Notorious a chance if that gets the green light.

He added: “Just like they were talking about him [McGregor] fighting Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao wouldn’t play with his a**. He’d knock him out in one round.

“Any other fighter other than Floyd would knock Conor McGregor out in one or two rounds.”
