It came as the Hoops were crowned nine in a row champions on Monday after clubs backed calls to end the Scottish Premiership season due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

And cops have now confirmed that a 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the video.

Cops confirmed they were made aware of the footage on Tuesday.

But the force did not confirm when the alleged incident took place.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a reported incident from Ibrox Stadium which police received on Tuesday, 20 May.”
