They insist Gers’ 200-page dossier failed to produce a “single shred of evidence” of boardroom misconduct.

Now League chairman Murdoch MacLennan is planning to shoot down their wide-ranging claims within the next 24 hours.
Gers finally delivered their long-awaited “evidence” on Thursday, with SunSport first to reveal the key details online.
The Light Blues specifically targeted chief executive Neil Doncaster and lawyer Rod McKenzie with a scattergun attack.
But there was no significant evidence to back up many of their claims.
It’s understood the SPFL are now preparing a statement of their own to send to clubs before Tuesday’s scheduled EGM.
A source said: “There will be a firm rebuttal which will address the points made by Rangers in their so-called dossier.

“There are certain things Rangers have mentioned while a number of other details were omitted.
“It’s important the clubs are given all the relevant information needed to make a decision on whether there’s a need for another investigation.”
The SPFL board held a general meeting just hours after Gers delivered their dossier, with Ibrox managing director Stewart Robertson not taking part.
The talks centred on dealing with the revelations made by Rangers that Sky and BT could be due a £10million refund if the season isn’t completed. That information is regarded as highly sensitive.

Crucially, Sky’s new deal kicks in on August 1. The SPFL board advised that resuming the current season beyond that date would put them in breach of contract.
If they were forced to renegotiate the terms of the TV agreement in the current financial climate, it could be worth a fraction of the current £160m figure.
The SPFL will now contact clubs ahead of Tuesday’s EGM, but they remain adamant the Gers dossier proves nothing.
An SPFL spokesman said: “It is now a month since Rangers accused the SPFL of bullying and corruption relating to the Dundee FC return.
“At last, Rangers have issued their ‘dossier’ and we will now take time to review it, before responding to all 42 clubs.
“Since Rangers publicly demanded the suspension of the SPFL’s chief executive and legal counsel, everyone in Scottish football has waited patiently for them to present their case.
“However, an initial examination of their ‘dossier’ has failed to identify a single shred of evidence to support Rangers’ vociferous claims of corruption, bullying and coercion by SPFL staff.
“If Rangers have any good reason for Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie to be suspended, we have yet to see it.”
